Super nice & easy going, great equipment for rental - felt safe and it was a lot of fun!

I had my first two kitesurfing sessions with Johanne at Thalasea, and it was such an unforgettable experience! Johanne is such a great and patient instructor. I enjoyed kitesurfing so much and Johanne really inspired me to keep learning.

Ich habe 3x 2 Einheiten bei Lucas absolviert und war absolut begeistert! Komplette Ausrüstung ist vor Ort vorhanden und im Kurspreis inkludiert. Das gesamte Team ist mega freundlich und kompetent. Als kompletter Anfänger kann ich behaupten, dass der Strand zum Kennenlernen und Einsteigen super geeignet ist und ich mich sehr sicher und gut betreut gefühlt habe. Best Spot for Kitesurfing in Naxos, relaxed athmosphere, Good Restaurant

Mit 54 Jahren habe ich dieses Jahr zum ersten Mal Kitesurfen ausprobiert, und das Team der Kitesurfschule hat mich immer ermutigt und unterstützt. Ich hatte eine tolle Zeit bei euch und habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt! 😊 Besonders möchte ich mich bei meinem Kite-Instructor Lucas bedanken. Er ist super nett, sehr geduldig und erklärt alles wirklich ausführlich. Wenn ich etwas nicht verstanden habe, hat er es mir ohne Probleme auch mehrmals erklärt. 😄 Und er lächelt immer.👍😊 Man merkt, dass er seinen Job mit viel Freude macht. Vielen, vielen Dank für alles! Ich komme sehr gerne wieder! 😊🌞🇬🇷🏄‍♂️

Ich habe hier angerufen, um Kite Equipment für einen Tag ausleihen zu können. Im Telefonat würde ich erst mal gefragt, wie erfahren ich bin. Das ist an sich sehr fair und gut so. Jedoch als ich meine Erfahrung geschildert hab, wurde mir direkt 1 Stunde mit Kite-Lehrer aufgeschwatzt, dass sie mich ohne die nicht fahren lassen und erst nach der Stunde geschaut wird, ob ich dann nach eigenständig fahren darf. Dabei hatte ich das Gefühl, dass sie unbedingt Geld machen wollten und nicht so drauf geachtet haben, was tatsächlich mein Skill Level angeht Bei einer anderen Kite Schule an dem gleichen Spot war das Vorgehen anders. Dort konnte man einfach etwas ausleihen und ein Kite Lehrer ist mit einem Strand gegangen und hat geschaut, ob man schon eigenständig fahren kann noch kurz ein paar Tipps gegeben (sehr hilfreich und nett). Dann durfte ich noch mal raus. Er hat geschaut, ob es dann gut klappt, was der Fall war, und ich konnte den Tag eigenständig fahren. Über die Ausrüstung oder das sonstige Personal kann ich nicht viel sagen, da ich eben nicht zu denen hingegangen bin, sondern zu einer anderen Kite-Schule. Dort habe ich eine bessere Rezension hinterlassen.

I've went to kite at Mikri Vigla (2h rental) with Thalasea team. Everything went well. Communication is smooth and easy with them. The spot is a bit more difficult than Paros (which is really flat). Would definitely come back !

All the equipment is brand new the teachers are perfect. The place has a restaurant with actually good food. showers. Everything was smooth and perfect.

Was stuck at the Naxos marina for a few days because of the Meltami, came across this place we were out riding around. Rented gear for an hour great spot, fun waves lots of people learning to kiteboard. I ride Cabrinha kites, they had a great selection. Cost €55, that’s around $90 Canadian for an hour, costs less the more you go. But an hour was good enough for me to check of kiting in Greece box.

Great teacher (FAO) and staff. Was up by the end of two lessons and water starting and going out and back by 3 lessons. Easy location as well

Sehr professionelles und herzliches Kitecenter. Schon die Anmeldung vor dem Urlaub war unkompliziert und besonders vertrauenswürdig (deutsch und englisch). Vor Ort wurden wir dann von Jasmin super freundlich empfangen. Top Material, schneller unkomplizierter Wechsel der Kite-Größen und vor allem ein sehr gutes Sicherheitsgefühl durch die aufmerksame Beobachtung der Bucht und das jederzeit bereite Boot. Auch das Team am Strand um Andreas war jederzeit aufmerksam, hilfsbereit und wirklich engagiert – genau so, wie man es sich an einer guten Kitestation wünscht. Dazu ein schöner sauberer Sandstrand und die gemütliche Taverne direkt daneben. Ich hatte vor dem Urlaub mehrere Kitecenter auf Naxos recherchiert und bin mir sicher, hier die richtige Wahl getroffen zu haben.

Definitely the best one stop shop in Mikri Vigla! Professional team, modern equipment and well assorted shop, tasty beach taverna with lovely staff and vibe! Certainly one of my all time favourites! 🤙🇬🇷🌊

Ein wunderschöner Kite-Spot mit tollen Bedingungen und einer super Atmosphäre. Dazu großartige Lehrer, leckeres Essen und ein rundum hervorragender Service – von der Organisation bis zum Verleih. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen definitiv wieder!

I had a fantastic experience at the kite centre. I initially booked a two-hour lesson but they were understanding and allowed me to continue kiting with rented equipment. This honesty was appreciated and the price was reduced without any negotiation since I was already equipped. They also built my confidence to ride independently which was great. I’ll definitely be back.

We had a great experience at Thalasea! The whole team is incredibly friendly and kind, always ready to help and make you feel comfortable. They are also very honest and fair when it comes to prices, which we really appreciated! The kite spot is beautiful, with a huge beach and plenty of space. There is also a nice area sheltered from the wind, perfect for anyone who just wants to relax while the others are kitesurfing. The beach bar is also really lovely and a great place to chill, have a drink and enjoy the atmosphere! We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend Thalasea. We hope to come back very soon!

Always a pleasure to come down to Mikri and rent Kite gears from Pascal, Jasmine and Andrea's team ! on top of that you have the delicious food prepared by Nikos and his team ! we simply loved it

I rented kite equipment from Kite Center Naxos by Thalasea Sports for over a week and was very happy with the quality of the gear. The spot in Mikri Vigla also offered very reliable wind conditions and was perfect for kitesurfing. My girlfriend took a course and received excellent, individual 1-on-1 instruction. Overall, a very professional and highly recommended kite center – we will definitely come back!

Excellent club de kitesurf, très bien situé dans la baie de Mikri Vigla. Équipe top, aussi bien les instructeurs qu’à l’accueil. Agréable restaurant sur place pour les cafés, déjeuners, cocktails avec jolie vue sur les ailes de kite. Très beau spot de kite, eau turquoise et sable blanc. Merci à toute l’équipe Thalasea pour ce très bon séjour !

Great kiting centre in Naxos on the main kite beach at the south end of Plaka - Mikri Villa. With a great cafe restaurant attached to relax between sessions. Rahel was a brilliant calm skilled and patient teacher who really helped me get to the next level in the challenging high winds and choppy waters. Highly recommend the school and the spot. Matt

Ik heb een paar dagen achter elkaar lessen gevolgd en heb een goede basis meegekregen, er is goed aangeleerd hoe je met de materialen om moet gaan en kite controle werd erg goed uitgelegd. De mensen van de school zijn erg relaxed en sympathiek. Al met al een fijne school en een goede ervaring!

I wholeheartedly recommend this school! A huge plus for the organization: the administrator is always responsive, and scheduling lessons is super flexible and easy at almost any time. Big thanks for the focus on safety as well the equipment and protective gear are in top-notch condition, which makes you feel completely secure. But the absolute highlight for me was my instructor, Joanna! I was really second-guessing myself and was terrified of both the sea and the kite, but Joanna turned out to be 100% the right person for me. She’s a true pro and amazingly empathetic. Everything was explained so clearly, with zero boring theory or confusing technical jargon. Step by step, gently, and without a bit of stress, she helped me understand the mechanics and overcome my fears. I walked away with unforgettable emotions and pure joy!

I had an amazing experience learning kitesurfing! I learned a lot during the lessons and, most importantly, I had a lot of fun. My instructor Nico was really friendly, patient, and professional, which made the whole experience even better. He explained everything clearly and made me feel comfortable and confident on the water. I would definitely recommend these lessons to anyone who wants to learn kitesurfing. I had a great time and would absolutely do it again!

We had an amazing 12 days on beautiful Naxos, staying in Mikri Vigla and kitesurfing with the Thalasea Kite Center. Jacques is a fantastic teacher. I learned a lot during our lessons and, most importantly, gained much more confidence for my independent sessions in Mikri Vigla. His guidance made a real difference. The whole Thalasea crew was wonderful — professional, friendly, encouraging, and always creating a great atmosphere. It was a pleasure spending our days with them. We absolutely loved our time in Mikri Vigla and would highly recommend Thalasea Kite Center to anyone looking for great kitesurfing, excellent instruction, and a genuinely welcoming crew. We’ll definitely be back! 🤙

Excellent conseils de Jacques. J’ai bien progressé et beaucoup mieux compris comment fonctionne un kite. L’équipe est top. Rendez-vous pris très facilement via le site et WhatsApp. J’ai même pu choisir la langue du moniteur. J’ai adoré.

Un immense bravo également à Jacques et Pénélope pour leur grand professionnalisme et leur pédagogie lors de nos sessions de kitesurf avec mon beau-fils 15h et on tient déjà debout ! Naviguant depuis mon plus jeune âge (windsurf, caravelle, laser...) et ayant côtoyé de nombreux coachs, je peux vous assurer que ces deux-là sont de véritables pépites ! Ils sortent vraiment du lot par leur méthode et leur passion. Je recommande à 200%

We had an amazing experience with Thalasea! The school is well organized, with excellent facilities and professional service from start to finish. The instructors are outstanding, patient, and always willing to share detailed, practical tips that really helped us improve our kitesurfing skills. Their coaching made a huge difference. The restaurant is another highlight, delicious food, a relaxed atmosphere, and a super friendly team. We loved being able to enjoy our meals while watching all the colorful kites on the water. Great Kite sessions for me (52) and my 2 kids (17 & 15) in Mikri thanks to Flisvos kite center with lovely instructors, always positive with good progress made 👍👍 Plenty of RRD material to choose from, well located. And a good yet pricey Italian restaurant next door.

Learned to kite in 4 days

I came to Thalasea with a real fear of the water and a lot of anxiety about kitesurfing. Then I met Asia, a fantastic Polish instructor, who somehow worked her magic. She is patient, calm, incredibly supportive and absolutely brilliant at what she does. She is the first instructor who truly helped me overcome my fear of the water and actually start enjoying kitesurfing. I never thought I would make this much progress or feel this confident. If you are looking for someone who will make you feel safe, understood and capable, I cannot recommend Asia highly enough!

Mon expérience concerne uniquement les cours de wingfoil : Les + : l’école est sur le plage, équipe très dispo sur whatsapp, moniteur très sympa Les - : matériel limité (quelques planches dispo, pas toutes les tailles, il faut réserver la planche à l’avance pour utiliser celle que l’on souhaite), manque de conseils techniques, les séances commencent parfois en retard mais se terminent bien à l’heure Globalement un peu déçue de mon expérience, nous avons fini par changer d’école

Der Spot und das Kite Center sind wirklich top! Ich bin immer sehr spontan vorbei gekommen, um mir die Ausrüstung auszuleihen und das war überhaupt kein Problem. Andreas und sein Team waren sehr hilfsbereit und haben mich perfekt ausgerüstet. Einmal waren alle passenden Kites bereits am Wasser und das Team hat es trotzdem geschafft mich aufs Wasser zu bringen. Das Restaurant ist auch sehr empfehlenswert. Vielen Dank nochmal und ich freue mich wieder bei euch Kiten zu können!

Great surprise by bouncing at Thalasea Sports. I did not plan to windsurf that afternoon. Place and wind conditions were amazing. Staff was able to provide me with an excellent rig and in a few minutes I was enjoying sailing. Many thanks.
